Rebuilding my corner of the internet
Why I gave this site a redesign, and what I want to use it for from here on.
I finally gave this site the redesign it has needed for a while.
For years it was a fairly generic theme — clean, but it could have been anyone’s. That never sat right with me, because the things I actually spend my time on are not generic at all. I write software during the day, I solder and 3D-print strange contraptions on the weekend, and somewhere in between I paint and sketch. I wanted a home on the internet that holds all of that in one place.
So the new site leans into three threads:
- Software — the apps, tools, and libraries I build, including the ones I’m shipping through Vaazh Studios.
- Hardware — the weekend builds, prints, and prototypes.
- Art — the slower, quieter practice that keeps me patient.
Why start writing?
Building things teaches you a lot, but the lessons evaporate if you never write them down. This blog is where I’ll keep the notes: what I tried, what broke, what I’d do differently. Some posts will be technical, some will be about a print that failed six times before it worked, and some will just be me thinking out loud.
If any of that is interesting to you, stick around. More soon.
